India’s long wait for entry of 3G and wireless broadband internet is set to be more prolonged as the Communications Ministry forwarded the draft guidelines to a Group of Ministers (GoM) for a final review. The government said that the GoM will take about 3 months to complete its review.

The Minister, A Raja said this in response to queries raised in Rajya Sabha. He said that the Group of Ministers is yet to be formed.

The government said that the base price issue is yet to be resolved.
