Qualcomm to launch sub $200 3G laptop in India by mid 2009

Foreseeing a strong potential for portable devices capable of handling internet services post 3G services launch in India, US-based CDMA chip maker Qualcomm said that it will introduce laptops priced around Rs 10,000 in the Indian market by mid 2009.

 

The internet access platform named as ‘Kayak’ can compute in low power environment and this will be its USP says Qualcomm.
