Idea Cellular has expanded its 3G network to cover 10 major cities and 100 other towns in the Maharashtra and Goa circle.
"Idea has been continuously enhancing 3G coverage across the state by adding sites every day, making us the highest penetrated 3G operator in the circle.
Maharashtra is our oldest and biggest circle and we will continue to build on this leadership on 3G services," Idea Cellular chief operating officer for Maharashtra and Goa, Rajendra Chourasia said.Its 3G services are now available in Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, Goa, Kolhapur, Solapur, Aurangabad, Ahmednagar, Akola, Nanded and 100 other towns, including Shirdi, Shrirampur, Jamkhed, Pathardi and Loni in the Maharashtra and Goa circle.The operator has announced roaming services on it 3G network across its 18 circles.
Its 3G users, both prepaid and postpaid, from Maharashtra and Goa can now roam seamlessly across these circles, the release said.The company has also introduced ''sachet' pricing, offering attractive trial pack at Rs 8 to promote usage and customers can choose from a wide range of 3G plans starting from Rs 8 to Rs 5,000 on both prepaid and postpaid services, the release said. |
