MTNL Mumbai introduces VDSL-based 20 mbps broadband service

MTNL Mumbai has launched a new broadband service offering speeds of 20 mbps and based on VDSL technology. The services are mainly targeted towards the enterprise segment and comes for a monthly rental of Rs 9,000 with free download limit of 18 GB per month.

MTNL says the service can also be used by enterprises as backup of their internet leased line.

The VDSL technology is mainly designed to support HDTV and triple play services.
