Canadian tech leader SOTI to invest $12 million in the Indian market

SOTI Inc. the world’s leading provider of Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) solutions’ CEO Carl Rodrigues, on Thursday announced an investment of USD 12 million in the Indian market, through the increase of the current employee base in the country, adding 300 new jobs within the span of two years. SOTI has also expanded its operations into a new state-of-the-art facility built on the vision of creating an environment to enable creativity and foster innovation.

According to a study by NASSCOM and Deloitte, the global enterprise mobility market has been pegged at USD 140 billion by 2020 — with APAC to grow by 21 percent. As per Gartner’s 2016 Hype Cycle for ICT in India, improving a business’ competitiveness and operational efficiencies is the major driver for enterprises adopting EMM throughout the country. Along with the maturity of the solutions offered and functions becoming more standardized, even across industries, the adoption of EMM in India will continue to increase exponentially for another 5 to 10 years.
