Intermedia, a global leader in cloud services and the world's largest Microsoft Exchange hosting provider, said that it received a strategic investment from Nokia Growth Partners the leading global growth stage venture firm focused on mobile technology, services and media.

Since its founding in 1995, Intermedia has been a pioneer in offering secure, reliable, and tightly integrated business grade cloud services, including Exchange, mobility, back up, collaboration, voice and more, built specifically with the small and medium sized company in mind.

In May 2011 the company was acquired by Oak Hill Capital Partners and continues to innovate and expand its cloud service offerings, growing its user base over 40 percent year over year. Intermedia manages an industry leading 450,000 premium Microsoft hosted Exchange mailboxes. It distributes its suite of services to 45,000 business customers directly and through its 10,000 + global channel partners.
