Mogae Media to look after Airtel’s advertising inventory management
TT Correspondent |  |  16 Jan 2012

Mogae Media promoted by former Dentsu India chairman Sandeep Goyal will look after all the advertising inventory management and mobile-commerce initiatives of Bharti Airtel, India’s leading telecom service provider. This is billed as first such deal in the Indian telecom industry.

Announcing this Airtel said that the deal will ensure that all its possible advertising space on mobile, DTH and broadband services will be handled by Mogae Media, reports Economic Times.

The newspaper quoting a person familiar with development said that this means Mogae Media will sell all possible advertising space on mobile, DTH and broadband services of the country's top telecom service provider and run its end-to-end mobile commerce initiative including giving special offers, discounts, freebies to subscribers and negotiating deals with companies.

He said his Mogae Media has already begun selling the advertising inventory and that he saw great potential for his new venture. "My dream is to create an Amazon in the mobile space in India," he said.
