Nokia, Airtel top in multi-sim handset & service provider categories

According to a study by Nielsen, Nokia and Airtel are the top brands in multi-SIM handset and service provider categories respectively.

The study says that in the country nearly a third of around 71 million subscribers are using Nokia''s dual-sim phones with multiple-sim cards. India's largest telco by subscribers and revenues Bharti Airtel is most popular service provider among multiple-sim users.

In the multi-SIM handset category, Nokia with 30 % is followed by Samsung and Micromax with 17% and 12% respectively.

In the popular service provider category Bharti airtel with 25 % is followed by Idea Cellular 15 percent.
