Tata Docomo launches traffic alerts for Bengaluru subscribers

Tata DOCOMO, the unified telecom brand of Tata Teleservices Limited (TTL), on Tuesday unveiled a unique Traffic SMS alerts for its pre-pay & post paid subscribers in Benguluru.

Tata DOCOMO subscribers can avail this amazing service by opting from a range of economical packs at just Rs 30 per month, Rs 10 per week or Rs 1.5 per day.

This value added service allows Tata DOCOMO subscribers to choose start & end location while selecting the time to receive real time traffic information.


In order to receive alerts the customers are required to configure these options. These options can be configured through the product interface thus making this value added service device independent. The alerts also include the speed at which traffic is moving along with the different stretches of the road.  The services will also keep customers alert of road accident & event information.

Announcing the unique Traffic Alert Services, A P Sriram, Chief Operating officer, Karnataka Circle said, “With increasing demand on work-life balance it is important to be alert and aware on external factors.  We are very pleased on our inimitable solutions which will add greater value to subscribers.”
