Airtel digital TV shuns WorldSpace for AIR radio channels

Airtel’s DTH services arm, Airtel Digital TV said that it will replace the 10 WorldSpace channels offered by it with 10 All India Radio (AIR) channels from January 01, 2010 without any additional charge to the subscribers of the Music Plus Top Up and those who were receiving WorldSpace channels as part of their subscription pack.

The AIR channels on offer include FM Gold, FM Rainbow, AIR Punjabi, FM Rainbow-Bangalore, AIR Tamil, AIR Ragam, AIR Telugu, AIR Bengali, AIR Gujarati and AIR Urdu.
