Samsung updates Guru200 with FM radio features

Samsung Telecommunications India (STI), today unveiled its latest offering- Samsung Guru200, a mobile handset with new FM recording feature.

 

Living up to its brand positioning ‘Next is What?’, Samsung’s new innovation offers an array of features including- stereo FM Radio and recording feature where users can not only record songs from the FM radio (max up to 5 minutes) but also use them as alarm or ring tones. The handset’s other features include- emergency sms, mobile tracker and a battery allowing 9hrs talk time.

 

Keeping the younger consumers in mind, the handset also has ‘hinglish’ database that enables users to communicate in both Hindi and English.

 

“Our Guru 200 offers a strong value proposition to consumers at the entry level mobile phone segment.  True to our ‘Next is What’ Campaign, this Phone offers FM recording as the ‘Next’ key feature in its latest Guru series of handsets,” commented Mr. Sunil Dutt, Country Head, Samsung Telecommunications India, on the company’s newest offering.

 The mobile handset will be priced at Rs 2999.
