RPG Cellucom forecasts FY08 revenues to reach Rs.500 crore

RPG Cellucom, a cellphone and laptop retail chain said it expects to hit revenue of Rs 500 crore in the current fiscal year as compared to Rs 400 crore a year ago.

 

After recently opening the 200th store in Mumbai, the company further plans to open 300 stores this year to enhance its presence in 25 cities.

 

Commenting on its plans, RPG Cellucom Executive Director Vikas Tawani said “This is quite an achievable target for us as we are increasing the number of our retail stores to 500 within this fiscal from 200 now.”
