Nokia launches E71 and E66 offering mobile email features

Nokia announced the launch of two new models in the E-series range, namely E71 and E66 which are positioned as handsets with mobile email compatibility and related preloaded features making the handset supporting more than 1000 thousand email accounts from almost all the leading service providers like Gmail, Yahoo and Hotmail.

 

The phones come equipped with Microsoft Office and allow download of attachments in Word, Excel, Powerpoint or PDF files.

 

Nokia E66 is equipped with a orientation sensor which automatically optimizes itself for full screen viewing or activates the silent mode when the device is turned over. The two models also have special features keeping in mind the requirements of enterprise customers. For instance both the handsets have integrated VPN support and use advanced encryption functionality.

 

The phones enable the IT departments of enterprises to effectively manage security settings, corporate applications, data and advanced voice features.

 

The E71 and the E66 will be available at a expected retail price of Rs.22,949 and Rs. 23,689 respectively.
