Sun Microsystems launches JavaFX mobile platform

Sun Microsystems unveiled its new JavaFX mobile platform in an effort to facilitate enhanced mobile applications. Currently the mobile platform is available on 2.6 mobile phones globally.

 

JavaFX enables developers to integrate audio and video, graphics, rich text, and Web services into their applications and provides them with the tools to deliver rich Internet applications for desktop, mobile, TV, gaming consoles and other consumer platforms.

 

The solution was unveiled at the ongoing Sun Microsystems’ annual worldwide developer conference being held at Hyderabad.
