Samsung launches dual-SIM GSM Galaxy Ace Duos in India at Rs.15,090

Samsung has expanded its smartphone portfolio by unveiling its GSM-GSM version of the Galaxy Ace Duos smartphone in India at Rs. 15,090.

 

The GSM-GSM Galaxy Ace Duos runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system with Samsung's TouchWiz UI on top. It has 3.5-inch HVGA TFT-LCD display with a 320 x 480 pixel resolution. Other specifications of the device include 5MP rear camera, 832MHz processor, 3GB built-in storage, microSD card support for up to 32GB and 1,300 mAh battery, which is rated to deliver 6.5 hours of talktime on 3G, and 16 hours of talktime on 2G. 

 

With an 832MHz processor and HSDPA 7.2 mbps and WiFi b/g/n connectivity, the device is belived to offer users fast data processing speeds. The phone features an 8.9cm HVGA screen and a 5 megapixel AF camera.

 

With the Smart Dual SIM, users are not required to turn off the phone, reboot or switch out the SIM cards. The Smart Dual SIM feature also allows usres to seamlessly use two numbers together at the same time.

 

The Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos is priced at Rs 15,090. With the launch of this smartphone, Samsung now has a range of 17 smartphone models priced in the range between Rs 7,350 to Rs 42,500.
