RIM launches BlackBerry Bold 9790 smartphone in pure white in Hong Kong
TT Correspondent |  |  17 Aug 2012

Research In Motion (RIM) on Thursday launched the BlackBerry Bold 9790 smartphone in Pure White.  Featuring the latest BlackBerry 7 OS (7.1), the new smartphone is available today from authorized partners in Hong Kong.

The BlackBerry Bold 9790 smartphone is powerful, full-featured and built with premium materials and finishes. It combines a high-resolution and highly responsive touch display with a highly tactile keyboard and a precise optical trackpad, but comes in a narrow design that is easy to carry and exceptionally comfortable to hold.

With the new BlackBerry 7.1 OS, the BlackBerry Bold 9790 delivers fast, smooth performance for browsing the web, running apps, working with documents, and enjoying multimedia. It includes 8GB of onboard memory and an expandable memory card slot that supports up to 32GB of additional storage.

With BlackBerry 7.1 OS, BlackBerry Bold 9790 customers can experience new ways to share information and content. For example, the OS incorporates a new feature called BlackBerry Tag, which can change the way customers share information and content. By simply tapping the NFC enabled BlackBerry Bold 9790 smartphone against another NFC enabled BlackBerry smartphone, customers can instantly invite a friend to BlackBerry Messenger (BBM), or exchange contact information, documents, URLs, photos, and other multimedia content. They can also pair their BlackBerry smartphone with an NFC enabled Bluetooth device.
