Job Function:
Qualcomm CDMA Technologies is currently seeking candidates who are experts in digital hardware / circuit / ASIC / SoC / SiP design in deep sub-micron CMOS for a variety of functional and formal design verification, validation, methodology and modeling positions in our Qualcomm Bangalore location. You will be directly involved in the verification of a variety cutting edge digital ASICs and embedded systems used in Mobile Phone and Tablet Processor SoCs including the Adreno high-performance graphics processing unit(GPU. OpenGLES, DirectX, etc.), high definition video(H.263 / 264 / 265, VC-1, etc.), cameras(MIPI CSI, ISP), audio(MP3, MIDI, MIPI Slimbus, etc.), and displays(MIPI DSI, HDMI, MHL, DisplayPort, etc.), 4G modems powered by LTE and a wide range of high-speed buses and interfaces that link our ASICs and SoCs together such as AMBA / AHB / AXI / OCP, Security, ARM / RISC / DSP cores/processors, memory subsystems and controllers(LPDDRx, PCDDRx, SRAM, etc.) and various peripherals.
Responsibilities :
Successful applicants will be involved in test plan definition, test bench creation, test development/implementation, execution and code/functional coverage closure in partnership with the ASIC teams. You will learn details of complex embedded systems, including the functionality of all the building blocks, overall system architecture and performance, power profiling and customer use cases. In addition, system level performance validation is done in conjunction with the Architectural and Performance Analysis teams. The platforms used for both functional and performance verification include RTL simulation (all simulators), Simulation Acceleration and Emulation.
