Vodafone launches 4G services in Delhi NCR; starting with Gurgaon

Vodafone India on Wednesday announced the rollout of 4G services in Delhi NCR, starting with Gurgaon. The company said that 4G services will be rolled out in a phased manner across the city within few months.

As 4G is launched in 1800 MHz band, so smartphone which is supporting the FDD-LTE Band 3 / 1800MHz network will be able to access Vodafone 4G services in Delhi NCR.

Customers can avail the 4G SIM for free. One can get the 4G SIM instantly from Vodafone stores or request for a door-step delivery for postpaid 4G SIMs.

Free three months of access to TV, music, and movies on Vodafone Play for free, as part of Vodafone subscription.

Vodafone 4G customers can avail 4G international roaming in the UK, Romania, Spain and Netherlands.

To activate the SIM-card, use your existing Vodafone number to SMS 'SIMEX <your 19-20 digit new 4G SIM card number>' to 55199.

Customer will receive a response SMS from 55199 and then Send the last 6 digits of the new SIM number to 55199 within 2 hours of receiving the SMS.

Customer will receive a success SMS that your 4G SIM will be activated within 5 to 10 minutes and then replace your old SIM with the new 4G SIM.

4G interenet pack starts from 35MB for Rs. 11to 20GB for Rs. 2499.
