Gurdeep Singh to head Reliance Communications Wireless Business

Gurdeep Singh, who will also be a member of Reliance Management Board (RMB), will be responsible for leading Reliance Communications Wireless Business to achieve higher revenues and profitability.

 

Gurdeep Singh, an alumnus of BITS Pilani has a rich experience of 29 years and has worked in sectors like Telecom, Home Appliances and Consumer Electronics.

 

 “I am delighted to be a part of the Reliance Group and look forward to an exciting journey in taking Reliance Communications Wireless Business to greater heights”, Gurdeep Singh said on his appointment.

 

Prior to joining Reliance Group, Gurdeep was the Chief Operating Officer, India, with Aircel.  He has also worked in Hutch (Now Vodafone) as Director Operations, North, for about 5 years.

Mr. Singh would have a tough task ahead. RCom is in complete mess (also many telecom operators). Can he imbibe a fair business operating policy & ethics? Stealing the customers' hard earned money through backdoor is a big concern. Mr. Ambani is equally answerable on that issue.

Mr. Singh VAS is the biggest issue in RCOM, fooling ourself by own staff and creating revenue will not lead rcom anywhere.
