CMAI brings on board Telecom Stalwarts

The Communication Media and IT Association of India (CMAI) which has positioned itself as the only integrated association in India for IT and Telecom today announced some top level appointments.

 

The industry body has appointed Mr. Pramod Saxena, (Chairman Oxygen, Ex CEO of Motorola India and Essar Telecom) as Chairperson of Mobile Commerce Committee, Mr. Arun Seth (Chairman BT India), as the chairperson of Alternative energy, Mr. Umang Das (President Quippo, Ex. CEO Spice Telecom), as Chairperson of Committee on Telecom Infrastructure and Mr. Amitabh Singhal as Chairperson for Regulatory Affairs.

 

Welcoming the appointments, Mr. Ravi Sharma, Executive Chairman, CMAI Association of India said, “We are proud to have such distinguished personalities in our board. This is a testimony of the support, we have been getting from the industry as we take on issues pertaining to consumer interest, as its utmost priority. This collaboration will further reinforce our efforts to further the interest of the industry and consumers.”
