Polaris appoints Srinivas Varadarajan as Vice President of sales and business development for Asia

Wireless location company Polaris Wireless on Tuesday announced the appointment of Srinivas Varadarajan as Vice President of sales and business development for Asia.

In this role, he will be based in the Polaris Wireless regional headquarters here, and will lead the company''s efforts to expand its strategic partnerships and client base in the region, the company said in a statement.

Prior to joining Polaris Wireless, Varadarajan was global Head of the LBS business unit at Nokia Siemens Networks, where he was responsible for establishing and growing relationships with major telecom operators throughout Asia, the company said.


He previously was director of business development for the applications practice in the global services business unit at Motorola, it added.
