Comverse’s BSS offering promise cost saving gains to telcos
TT Correspondent |  New Delhi |  12 Feb 2010

With revenues of most of the telecom service providers hitting a stagnation level and focus now on cost savings, Business Support System (BSS) solution provider, Comverse has positioned its solutions as one which help such operators in their respective cost saving focus.

Banked on a research by Nucleus Research, Comverse says that it ranks high on the Return-on-Investment quotient. The research takes into consideration parameters such as lower software acquisition and support costs, lower integration efforts and risks, and greater revenues per user.

As an instance, Comverse says that a operator managed to reduce costs incurred on customer data management, data rating, and billing from $11.2 million to $ 1.2 million on an annual basis.

"The Nucleus Research report highlights how Comverse is uniquely qualified to help operators be successful in the converging telecommunications world,” says Gabriel Matsliach, President of Global Products and Operations at Comverse.
