MapmyIndia launches Connect for smartphones and tablets

In a first MapmyIndia, India’s leader in digital maps, GPS navigation and location based services (LBS), has announced the launch of MapmyIndia Connect.

This device enables users to mirror their smartphone/tablet screen to the screen of their choice.  Practically ‘MapmyIndia Connect’ breaks free the user from the restriction of screen-size.

With this advanced device, user can mirrorSmartphone/ Tablet (Android and iOS), on to the preferred screen. No wired connection is required.

“The smartphone and tablet can do much more but for the size of the screen. Now this will no more be a barrier,” says Rakesh Verma, Managing Director, MapmyIndia.  

Now anyone in the car who has a MapmyIndia Maps application can share this with the Car AV system and comfortably reach the destination or explore new places and points of interest nearby. There is no need to pass your phone around, to share your latest pictures or a funny video. Simply connect the phone, with the screen, using MapmyIndia Connect and enjoy it together, as you browse through pictures, videos or the internet.

MapmyIndia Connect is priced at INR 12990. The device streams the smartphone content through WIFI, there is no additional burden on your broadband/internet connection. The device can be connected through AV cable or Micro USB. Thus increasing the product’s utility. Even though the user has a TV which does not have a USB port, the device can connect with AV cable.  MapmyIndia Connect is compatible with all popular audio, video and image formats.

The MapmyIndia Connect Box comes with USB-Micro USB Cable, DLNA-MIRACAST convert Switch, Wi-Fi Antenna, Wi-Fi/ RCA/ Power Cable and Owner's Kit which includes hardware manual, customer's warranty card and terms of use.
