DTS'' Envelo(TM) technology to be featured on Huawei C8655 Android based
TT Correspondent |  |  25 Jun 2012

DTS, Inc on Sunday said that DTS' Envelo(TM) technology will be featured on the newly launched Huawei C8655 Android based smartphone. This new product, available via the China wireless carrier China Telecom, further demonstrates the rapid adoption of DTS' high quality audio technology into connected devices and the growing importance of sound to the overall mobile experience.

With DTS technology, Huawei C8655 smartphone users will enjoy an immersive, virtual surround sound when listening to music, playing video games, and watching videos. DTS Envelo provides a dramatic, expansive sound field that creates a richer, more immersive audio experience by widening the sound and adding both depth and dimensionality.

"As consumers increasingly access a variety of content from connected TVs, tablet PCs and mobile devices, DTS is dedicated to delivering a high quality audio experience regardless of the platform," said Roy Law, president of DTS Greater China Region. "Our latest integration with Huawei enables connected customers to enjoy superior audio wherever they are."
