Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Jio Infocomm in Rs 1200 crore pact with RCom for use of optic fiber network

Mukesh Ambani- controlled Reliance Jio Infocomm has entered into Rs 1200 crore pact with Anil Ambani's Reliance Communications to share latter’s nationwide optic fiber network. RCom has 1,20,000 kms of nationwide inter-city optic fiber network.
 
RCom said that it will have reciprocal access to fibre infrastructure built by Reliance Jio Infocomm in future, RCom said.
 
RCom shares were up 16.5 percent and Reliance IndustriesBSE 2.03 % was up 1.9 percent. RComm stock crossed the 200 DMA following the pact.
 
It said in a filing with the BSE that the agreement provides for joint working arrangements to be put in place immediately for upgradation of the optic fiber network, to ensure seamless delivery of next generation services.
