Inexio deploys RAD Data Communications’ EtherAccess solutions
TT Correspondent |  |  20 Jul 2012

Inexio Informationstechnologie Telekommunikation KGaA, an innovative German network and data center service provide, has deployed RAD Data Communications’ EtherAccess solutions to connect its business customers over fiber optic infrastructure, as well as for Multiservice Access Node access.

In order to offer its customers high-quality and cost-effective services, Inexio has rolled out Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) certified Carrier Ethernet technology. This allows operators of Ethernet networks to specify and ensure Quality of Service (QoS) up to the flow level. To ensure quality of transmission, Ethernet OAM mechanisms, as well as in service performance monitoring tools, continuously monitor the network connection and Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance.

Pan Dacom Direkt GmbH, a longtime technology partner of RAD Data Communications, is responsible for consulting, planning and implementing the project.

“After an extensive evaluation phase, and based on our high quality demands and the competent support of Pan Dacom Direkt GmbH, we opted in the end for the EtherAccess product suite from RAD Data Communications,” stated Ralf Kreibig, executive manager at Inexio. “The Ethernet demarcation devices allow us to provide a consistent transmission range of between 100Mbps and 10Gbps, allowing us to provide our customers with a comprehensive technical solution.”

“With RAD’s EtherAccess product suite, we are able to offer Inexio a perfect, advanced and mature technological solution that meets all their needs,” added Stephan Heese, pre-sales consultant at Pan Dacom Direkt GmbH. “Furthermore, another decisive reason to choose this system was the ongoing economic and strategic development of the product suite by RAD Data Communications.”

“We are pleased to partner with Inexio, a strong, aggressively expanding EtherAccess customer that, at the same time, is open to new technologies,” noted Marc Kahabka, General Manager of RAD GmbH. “Ultimately, its customers will benefit tremendously by embracing Carrier Ethernet technology, which enables flexible and customized solutions.”
