Asus on Thursday launched the world's slimmest 13.3-inch QHD+ ultraportable Zenbook UX305 laptop in India, Priced starting Rs. 49,999. The Zenbook UX305 will be available on Flipkart and Asus exclusive stores from Friday onwards.

Asus Zenbook UX305 Ultraportable Laptop comes with 13.3-inch full-HD (1920x1080 pixels) resolution LED-backlit display. Asus states that, “the full-size ergonomic keyboard has an improved layout for comfortable and accurate typing in any lighting conditions, and the large responsive touchpad supports Smart Gestures for intuitive control of Windows 8.1.” and powered by Intel Core M-5Y10 Processor (4MB cache, 2 cores, 4 threads, 800MHz base frequency, 2GHz Turbo frequency) with 4GB RAM and Intel HD Graphics 5300.

Asus Zenbook UX305 Ultraportable Laptop also has inbuilt storage of 256GB SATA 3 SSD and the laptop's thermal management design and IceCool technology keeps it from reaching high temperature during heavy usage as well.

For connectivity options Laptop has three USB 3.0 ports with one of the ports supporting Asus Charger+ technology for quick recharging of mobile devices, a Micro-HDMI v1.4 port, a headphone and audio-in combo jack, and a SDXC card reader slot. Since there is not Ethernet port, a USB-to-Ethernet adapter is also bundled with 3-cell Li-ion Polymer battery.

Asus Zenbook UX305 Ultraportable Laptop also has Smart Gesture support alongside the Asus SonicMaster audio, ICEpower, Bang & Olufsen technology for enhanced sound experience and AudioWizard, an audio software with five presets is also included in the laptop as well.

Asus Zenbook UX305 Ultraportable Laptop has thickness of 12.3mm and weight 1.2kg available in Obsidian Stone colour variant with the company's spun-metal finish and concentric circle pattern, and in Ceramic Alloy pure white colour shade options as well.
