India’s leading system integrator as well as software developer, Tata Elxsi, CommAgility and AxisNT announced a tie-up to offer a ‘greener’ system for WiMAX deployment which the alliance claims will result in reduced opex for operators.

The solution will involve AxisNT’s Remote Radio Head, Tata Elxsi’s WiMAX software and CommAgility’s AMC signal processing board and will be a WiMAX base station reference solution including WiMAX baseband processing and WiMAX remote radio heads.

The alliance will demonstrate the solution at the upcoming Mobile World Congress.
