Indian GSM operators add 14.69 mn new subscribers in October

The Indian GSM operators collectively added 14.69 million new subscribers in the month of October.

Market leader Bharti airtel added 3 million new subscribers taking its subscriber base to 146 million with a market share of 28.76%. BSNL added 2.4 new subscribers, Idea added 1.8 million, Vodafone added 2.48 million while Uninor added 2.48 million.

Haryana recorded the maximum growth of 5.22% while Maharashtra witnessed growth of 4.05%.
