ZTE, a publicly-listed global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions, has bagged a project to provide UNE with an MF821 LTE Dongle and MF821+MF20 LTE Wireless Uifi set. UNE is Colombia’s biggest telecommunications operator.

The MF821 LTE wireless network card supports LTE FDD: DL/UL 100/50Mbps, has a Micro SD slot up for storage of up to 32 GB, and supports all major operating systems. The MF20 is a new datacard adapter product. Its main function is to change datacard access for Wifi coverage. It is portable; battery powered and can also be used as a wired router.

"ZTE’s sound relationship with UNE made this partnership possible,” said Hua Rusong, President of ZTE Colombia. "In the future, we aim to partner with the operator on 4G handsets, Uifi, tablets as well as system projects."

”ZTE is a valuable partner in Colombia,” said JuanIgnacio Palaci, UNE Global Marketing Vice President. “We are honored to work with them to bring these products to our customers.”
