Tata Communications gets Cisco certification on its network service

Tata Communications Ltd announced the launch of its global Telepresence network service which has achieved the status of Cisco certified Telepresence Connection.

 

Cisco Telepresence is an advanced realistic virtual meeting solution that creates unique “in-person” experience permitting real time, face-to-face communication over a converged IP network.

 

The company claims that the solution enables to deliver life-size images, ultra-high-definition video, spatial audio and a specially designed environment to create a “room within a room” meeting space.

 

Tata Communications becomes the first Asian service provider to attain Cisco Certified Telepresence Connection status.

 

John Landau, Senior Vice President, Global Managed Services, Tata Communications said “This is a testament to the performance of our global MPLS capability, and is the first step to a rich range of TelePresence Managed Services which Tata Communications will be rolling out in the coming months”.
