Apple to roll out 3G iPhone in 25 countries

Following the unveiling of Apple’s latest offering– 3G iPhone at annual developers'' conference in San Francisco on Monday, the company plans to have a gigantic roll out of the hot-selling device, making it available in 25 countries around the globe.

 

In line with this, Apple has tied up with Telecom Italia Mobile (TIM) and Hutchison Telecommunications International Limited (Hutchison Telecom) to foray 3G iPhone in Italy and Hong Kong respectively. The company has also collaborated with French telecom carrier Orange to roll out the device in Italy, Austria, France, Portugal and Switzerland on July11, 2008.

 

Later in the year, the 3G iPhone will be made available in other countries like the Dominican Republic, Egypt, Jordan, Luxembourg, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Macau, Africa and Middle East.
