TT Bureau |  |  16 Jun 2008

CDMA major, Qualcomm emerged as the top ranking company in the “Best Workplaces 2008” study conducted by the “Great Place to Work” Institute in association with The Economic Times. The company also had the distinction of being ranked at the 12th position across all sectors.

The study involving participation of 200 companies and 36,000 employees used the special employee-centric methodology for obtaining unbiased results. The same study last year had ranked Qualcomm at 21st position.

Speaking on this great honor, Kanwalinder Singh, President of Qualcomm India and South Asia said “I believe our people and our employee focus form the foundation of our company. Success in global business, with global talent, while preserving our unique culture puts Qualcomm ahead of its industry peers.”
