Oxigen launches e-wallet services for mobile, PC users

Oxigen Services India, announced the launch of a new prepaid electronic system called OxiCash- Virtual Mobile Wallet (VMW) through which users can make all utility payments via mobile and PCs.

 

Mobile subscribers can create an Oxicash account by sending an SMS to service provider or directly through Oxigen website. The Oxicash account can also be recharged in the same way. 

 

OxiCash has currently 50,000 outlets all over the country and the company plans to expand its retail network to 250,000 stores by 2010.

 

"This OxiCash account is going to be the wallet of the next-gen users through which they can buy any kind of services from any kind of merchants we have a tie-up with," said Pramod Saxena, Founder Chairman and MD, Oxigen.
