Nine more firms join Symbian foundation, says Nokia

Nokia, the world’s top cellphone maker said that nine more firms have expressed interest to support new open mobile software alliance, Symbian Foundation which has taken the total members strength to 30.

 

The companies joining the alliance include mobile operators 3, America Movil and TIM, chip firm Marvell and services and software providers Aplix, Elektrobit, EMCC Software, Sasken and TietoEnator.
