AT&T, Verizon, Qwest tie-up to prevent customer churn
TT Bureau |  |  10 Jul 2008

AT&T Inc., Verizon Communications Inc. and Qwest Communications International Inc. have joined hands to stop cable operators from poaching into their subscribers by launching a website movearoo.com which provides users all the information about telecom services in the area except for those offered by cable operators.

Through this, the telco operators intend to fend off competition from cable operators. AT&T claims that according to its survey customers tend to switch over to a new service provider when they relocate.
