KeyToss enhances its mobile portal

KeyToss mobile portal today unveiled a set of new enhancements to its smartphone portal, charting its final step to becoming a full-featured mobile portal.

 

As a part of the newly appended features, users will be able to add four different types of custom links to their personal web pages, comprising of- mobile-friendly pages, pages that are automatically converted to mobile format using one of four mobile transcoders, links to user-selected news feeds and Google Local searches customized to the user''s location. Besides users can also choose from a list of pre-selected links, or enter their own links, either by typing them directly, or by clicking a bookmarklet while browsing from a PC.

Additionally, the portal will feature Gmail status module and a mobile transcoder module, stepping up its downside, when pitted against its competitors like are iGoogle and Yahoo mobile beta.

 

Other features that the mobile portal has introduced include access to over 50 search tools in one search bar, localized searches to save on user’s time, summaries of news feed, powerful browser-based desktop interface, easier ways of transferring files, and customized quotes on sports scores, weather forecasts, and stock.
