RCom lines up Rs 100 cr advertising spend for DTH foray, wants to leverage from its gaming content to differentiate offerings

Reliance Communications DTH subsidiary, Big TV is all set to enter the DTH fray in the country and the company is planning to make ad advertisement spend of Rs 100 crore to popularize its services.

 

The services may be launched in Mumbai this week followed by Delhi and subsequently rollout in 5000 towns across the country.

 

Reports say that the company is aiming to leverage from its group company’s rich gaming content and content related to Bollywood, cricket, news and music.

 

As per reports, the company will offer the services at a monthly rental of Rs 325 which includes free Rs 100 worth of ‘pay-per-view’ content.
