Cloud Computing is rapidly gaining importance and vendors are aggressively working overtime to gain competitive advantage in their offerings to the industry. Keeping in lines with such a trend, Unisys Corp unveiled its new cloud computing strategy which addresses the security concerns of CIOs related to adoption of cloud computing.

Unisys claims that its new strategy complimented by its solutions portfolio will enable organizations to migrate to cloud computing in a tailored environment with great confidence in maintaining critical information.

However they have lacked the comprehensive security to make them confident in doing so.

Unisys says its Stealth security solution which is a patent-pending data protection technology is available for the commercial clients apart from government applications for which it was primarily developed. The solution boosts of multiple levels of authentication and encryption, bit-splitting data into multiple packets.

 The company’s new offerings include Unisys Secure Cloud Solution and Cloud Transformation Services. The first solution is pitched towards multi-tenant environments where clients share a common IT infrastructure.

The company plans to further expand its cloud computing portfolio in the coming months. Among these include ‘cloud-in-a-box’ solution enabling quick and cost-effective implementation of a private cloud.
