 Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), country’s largest public sector telecommunications company said that Oracle has bagged a contract to provide next-generation services with Oracle'''s Siebel Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and other Applications, Database and Middleware.
Oracle contract will contribute towards BSNL’s aggressive growth plans and will enhance the customer service delivery in the country. BSNL, having a customer base of more than 70 million is investing extensively in technology in order to maintain its leadership position in the country. It is planning to implement a next-generation, state-of-art Call Detail Records (CDR) based customer care and Convergent Billing system that will offer effective billing and customer care solutions.
“This CDR project will help in enhancing the customer service delivery which in turn, cut off the operational costs, thus resulting in increased revenue.” said BSNL CMD, Kuldeep Goyal.
Under the agreement, BSNL will take in Oracle Database, and Oracle Business Activity Monitoring, a component of Oracle Fusion Middleware. |
