WiFi networks announced launch of a technological platform based on Digital Video Broadcasting for terrestrial/Handhelds (DVB-T/H) standards, which will enable video broadcasting services on mobile handhelds through Wi-Fi.

The company aims to forge tie-ups with broadcasters on a revenue-sharing basis. The company claims to be working on Proof of Concept of its platform with broadcasters abroad and hopes to close the deal within this year.
