  LG Telecom, South Korea’s third-largest mobile service operator may offer its 3G services on Google’s software enabled mobile phones.
CEO Jung Il-jae said “We are using an open platform for our 3G service. Google and other companies have shown interest in our service.”
LG Electronics had earlier announced to sell a model running on Google’s Android mobile phone operating system in late 2008 or early 2009.
Other players keen on using Google’s Android platform include Samsung and AT&T. |
