Yahoo launches voice-search via mobile phones

Yahoo has come up with new version of its OneSearch technology fro mobile phone. This will help the users to search faster through voice or text.

 

Apart from making search faster it is also accessible on the idle screen of many phones.

 

According to Marco Boerries, executive vice president, Connected Life, Yahoo, through Yahoo! OneSearch 2.0 they want to change the way consumers uses the Internet on their mobile phones.

 

Yahoo claims that through this technology, consumers just have to simply speak the search term in order to get the information. The technology understands the voice and accent the more the user use it, and is not limited to a specific list of words.
