BSNL, RIM in talks to offer Blackberry services
TT Correspondent |  New Delhi |  25 Apr 2008

The Blackberry controversy seems to be working in favour of RIM as operators who had earlier stayed away from forging a deal with the Canadian firm are now mulling to forge an alliance with the company.

Even as the issue continues to remain unresolved, BSNL announced that it is in talks with Blackberry to offer the services to its subscribers.

“We are in dialogue with BlackBerry services. We will be ready to launch its services once the controversy is resolved,” said BSNL chairman and managing director Kuldeep Goyal.
