Mobile VAS solution provider, Veveo announced the launch of its ‘vtap’ character-based video search services for mobile subscribers.

According to the company there are millions of videos available in the web which are mainly customized for PC users but few videos address the needs of mobile users.

Company President and CEO, Murali Aravamudan further announced that the firm has received $7.8 million venture capital funding from Mr Promod Haque, Managing Partner of Norwest Venture Partners.
