Telephone operator Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) stated that it is carrying out field trials of Mobile TV and expects the services to be launched from next month.

Mr J Gopal, Executive Director, MTNL said that the company has tied up with a technology partner to carry out the field trails.

Other than this MTNL also announced the launch of a value-added service for its Dolphin and Trump mobile users named Express alert.

This VAS facility will offer MTNL users updates on astrology, cricket scores, news and stock.
