Nokia moves to become Internet company

The world’s leading mobile handset maker Nokia is set to diversify it self and spread its wide wings into fresh areas of mobile software and services.

 

The company’s heads while laboring on the strategy, Pekka Kallasvuo, CEO, Nokia said the company’s target is to ‘act less like a traditional manufacturer, and more like an internet company.’

 

He further said that companies like Apple, Google, and Microsoft are increasingly giving the Finnish company a tough competition.

Nokia undoubtedly has dominated the manufacturing department. In areas of mobile software and services too, nokia will definitely prove a point to its competitors like Apple and Google that it is truely an internet company.
