Glu launches motion sensitive technology enabled game for Sony Ericsson

Glu Mobile Inc., a leading global publisher of mobile games, announced the release of a motion sensitive technology-enabled game exclusively for Sony Ericsson handsets.

 

Get Cookin’, the game which works on the new Motion-Sensitive Technology, expects gamers to make use of physical gestures along with button presses to create luscious cuisines by bringing in user’s choice of ingredient to it.

 

The game allows gamers to choose from wide assortment of not only cooking methods but also the ingredients, seasonings and recipes. On perfecting the game in the virtual world, gamers can rise to the top of their profession in real world too.

 

Speaking on the launch of the game, Jill Braff, senior vice president of global publishing, Glu said, “Sony Ericsson’s motion sensor technology allows us to incorporate more authentic, true to life challenges in Get Cookin’ and introduce an entirely new dimension to mobile games. The use of this technology gives developers a way to deepen the gameplay and gives players a truly fun game that incorporates all new ways to play.”

Get Cookin’ is slated to release across all major carriers worldwide in July 08. Besides Sony Ericsson W910i, the game is also compatible with some other Sony Ericsson devices.
