LIC and Corporation Bank tie-up to enable premium payment through mobile

LIC and Corporation Bank launched a mobile payment service for their insurance policyholders to make premium payments via SMS.

This new service will be offered by mobile solution provider PayMate to Corporation Bank policyholders subscribing to LIC insurance services.

The policyholder needs to type SMS LIC (space) policy number and send it to 5667711. Additionally one has to register on Paymate before using the service.
