Samsung, Virgin Mobile USA to launch new cellphone ‘Slash’

Samsung Mobile in collaboration with Virgin Mobile USA announced to come up with a new mobile phone, Slash to provide both style and features to the consumers.

 

The $80 slider phone weighs 3-ounces and includes a VGA camera, BlueTooth capability and instant messaging, texting and e-mail options. Additionally the phone consists of an integrated speakerphone, voice-activated dialing, a bright color display and ample storage. Slash also comes with preloaded and customizable Autotext for fast and easy text messaging, the companies said.

 

Bob Stohrer, Virgin’s chief marketing officer said “Samsung has a strong reputation for designing products that raise the bar across all of these criteria. We’re thrilled to work with them to bring a cool new offering like Slash to market.”

 

“Our first collaboration with Virgin Mobile USA cuts right to the core of what our customers are looking for, a phone with exciting features and a cool design”, said Bill Ogle, chief marketing officer for Samsung Mobile.
